This idea had also crossed my mind but…

Have you ever said to yourself: ‘this idea had also crossed my mind, but I thought that it was not going to work and here it is working’? How is it that faced with the same situation (an opportunity, an idea) you focused on the obstacles (it will not work) while the other focused on the opportunities (it will work)?

In life, there are two types of people: “those who think it may be possible but difficult and those who think it may be difficult but possible”. These two attitudes are born in your mind even before you have decided to act.

As soon as a thought springs into your mind, it can only go through the process of maturing if you give it the chance to blossom. But if you reject it or put-up obstacles (real or imaginary) to its realization, it will slip out of your mind. However, if this same thought is captured by another person who agrees to give it the chance to flourish, it will take shape in his mind and produce its effects.

Adopting an attitude is a matter of choice. Each time you say: « It’s difficult but possible », you are affirming that there is a solution to your problem and that you can find it. You are preparing your mind to move towards the solution. As there is at least one solution to any problem, the solution you seek will eventually reveal itself to you, or better yet it will come to you. This is the attitude of winners.

There is an opportunity in every problem. Many people we look up to today owe their success to this positive mental attitude. Because every problem is an opportunity for us to learn and grow. Those who only see difficulties where others see solutions deprive themselves of this chance to learn and grow and therefore to succeed. The only thing standing between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is possible, says Joel Brown.

You are therefore free to choose between letting your dream hatch (it is difficult but possible) and killing it in your mind (it is possible but difficult). Success is first and foremost a matter of mental attitude but that is not enough. You also must decide to work to get there. Anything the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can do (Napoleon Hill). He who wants to succeed finds a way, he who does not want to do anything finds an excuse, they say.
